UP 500 was originally UP 2000, their very first GP38-2, built 3/74, rebuilt with replacement body panels after a wreck at Kearney, NE in 1996, hence the lack of a water sight glass on the hood.

Now right before we leave Bailey yard totally, I got a photo of UP 3821, 4067, 500, and UPY 809. There are some more UP units in the photo but I cant read the numbers, if anyone has an idea of what the numbers to the units I dont know, it would be appreciated if anyone told me kn a comment. Thanks!
