Album Info:Howdy, everybody! This past Saturday, I went to Lee's Summit, Missouri, took the Missouri River Runner to Kirkwood, and took Uber from there to the St. Louis Museum of Transportation. They have cars and planes there too, but the trains are by far the best part! The collection's so huge, I didn't have time to see everything, so sorry if your favorite engine from it didn't make it into the album. However, I got shots of a lot of neat ones! Even with the wait once you book your driver, Uber will get you from the station to the museum in under 30 minutes, so definitely consider it if you happen to live near any of the Missouri River Runner stops. Enjoy the album!

Description:  1621 was originally built for Imperial Russia! However, the Russian Revolution intervened, and it was reassigned to US use. It worked for the Eagle-Picher mines, over by the now-ghost-town of Picher, Oklahoma.

Finished in 1853, this tunnel served until World War II, when its single track width became too constrictive for what was now a busy, double-tracked line.
