Album Info:The Buckingham Branch Railroad (BB) started in 1989 in Buckingham County with 17.3 miles from Dillwyn to Bremo. The BB also operaters CSX's Mountain, Washington, and Piedmont subdivisions under a 20-year lease starting in December 2004. All pictures in this album are from the Buckingham Division.

Description:  This former Army (now owned by the Defense Logistics Agency and used in Buckingham Branch MOW Service) Magor Flat Car was parked outside the depot with some civil war relics on display. Todays train ride includes a civil war battle.

Description:  With a fresh coat of paint "The General" is already shut down for the day on the Dillwyn team track outside the depot. This engine was bought from the Defense Logistic Agency back when the Buckingham Branch operated the Shenandoah Valley Railroad. Today it sees use on the Buckingham Division switching hoppers at Luck Stone and the Westvaco wood chip mill in Alpha.
