Gettysburg Railway (PREX 105) sits parked for the weekend on the ND&W mainline with an eastbound local from Woodburn in Cecil. Usually when the crews tie down trains in Cecil, they will park them on the LaFarge lead. But, due to a tank car and a ballast cleaner on the lead, I would guess they had to sit it in this location. |

Would have been cool to catch this moving. Even though they have done very good work repairing the tracks from the MAW, Cecil still is one of the worst locations on the line. Would be cool to see a train leaning at a 75-80 degree angle. And, along with the engines unique paint scheme compared to the rest of the black and yellow PREX engines assigned to the ND&W, this unit has a very unique horn. |

The other engineer on the crew hops onto the ATSF unit and pulls it onto the Lafarge Spur. PREX 2045 would then back into the cars and pull forward on the main. Meaning, there would be long hood forward units leading both trains their respective trains when they were done switching in Cecil... I feel like they did this to upset me on purpose, but probably not. |
