The remains of the elevator siding in downtown are quite clear. As far as I know..J&J Farm services (the owners of the elevator) haven't shipped by rail in quite a while (going back to the C&O I would guess). The siding was removed a couple of years ago by the HESR. |

I am guessing that the hoppers on the main are inbounds for the MAC elevator about a half mile east of this location (behind the loco and the cut of hoppers). This is the first time I have seen them split up the power to work the elevator. |

Overgrown & Abandoned CSX |
| Description: |
Here is a picture I took at Brown City, Michigan at Shephard Rd.(?) I think. This CSX line is overgrown and is considered part of the now abandoned Port Huron to Brown City, Michigan branchline that was sbld and abandoned by CSX in 1989. Part of the line is ripped up and overgrowth took over, some rustic track and ties sit silent and still as overgrowth also takes over, and, the earlier part of the line near Port Huron is the Wadhams to Avoca Bike path. I also brightened the picture since the lightning was rubbish. |
