Spray Train
Title:  Spray Train
Description:  A Spray train is headed north through Elliott. This train had a track warrant that ended at the south siding switch at Grenada, but the crew went outside their limits and went up to the depot. Trainmaster Randy Dray happened to be there and held them out of service right on the spot. I am not sure who the crew was as they were out of Jackson, MS.

a remnant of better days
Title:  a remnant of better days
Description:  This Danger Fast Moving Trains sign is located at the Georgia Pacific Crossing just south of Grenada near Elliott, mile 625.7. The large Georgia Pacific mill in the background closed in 2010 but GP still owns and maintains the building for possible future reopening. This plant was once a big customer for the railroad, loading upwards of 10-15 cars per day back in the 1990's. GP had this sign placed here back in the late 80's/early 90's after several log trucks got hit here.
