Built by Standard Steel in 1929, this orange interurban car of the Chicago South Shore & South Bend with the nickname of "Little Train that Could" served for decades before finally being replaced by more modern EMU's. The orange coach cars were a very common sight in Northern Indiana & Chicagoland. The coach had a 56 seat capacity. An unknown photographer took this photo. |
