Alco-Schenectady, 3/1926 serial #66615 The loco was retired in May of 1952 after nearly 26 years of service. It was later sold for scrap in 1954. Specs - 69" drivers, 225 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weight of 362,500 lb, tractive effort of 60,620 with a booster addition of 12,660 lb. The photo is from the Howard W. Ameling collection and now in my collection. |
