Description:  This 4-6-2 Pacific type steam loco was built by Alco-Brooks in February of 1924 (serial #65259). The loco was chosen to be one of three locos streamlined in 1940 with the" Black Diamond Express" styling. The loco lasted in service until being scrapped in February of 1951. Specs - class K-6b, 77" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine weight of 291,000 lb, tractive effort of 41,534 lb and with an added booster, the total tractive force was 51,934 lb. . No date, location or photographer was listed.
