Before joining the ALCO group, Brooks Locomotive Works built this 4-6-0 ten wheeler in December of 1900 originally as WC #254, (serial #3709, class E-25). In 1909, it was renumbered WC 2652 and eventually slid over to the SOO roster as SOO 2652. The loco met the scrapper's torch in June of 1948. Specifics - 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure 20x26" cylinders, engine weight of 158,000 lb, tractive effort of 31,018 lb.
