This GP38-2 started out from EMD as Boston & Maine #205 but was picked up by KCS, repainted and renumbered KCS #4016. It's wearing the low maintenance gray paint with red billboard lettering an yellow stripes - far better than the "Ghost" or "Red Cross" paint scheme of the 1960-70's. History - EMD built in December of 1973 as Boston & Maine GP38-2 #205 > KCS #4016 > re# in 2005-6 to KCS 2014 > repainted in "Southern Belle" colors in 2015. The photo is from the Conniff collection and now is in my rr collection. |
