Thirteen old locomotives were stored on Wabtec’s west test track, just north of the locomotive plant in Fort Worth. They were GECX (ex-BNSF) 4798 and 4795, CSX 137, GECX 4822 and 4776, UP 6168, GECX 4828, UP 6231, CSX 54, and GECX 4791, 4780, 4826 and 4804. The GECX units were C44-9W’s, while the CSX and UP were AC4400CW’s. |
