The loco was retired in October of 1955 and the scrapper's torch took care of it in November of 1955. Specs -serial #56901, U-2d class, 58" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 218,000 lb, tractive effort of 44,920 lb.. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
