Title:  GLRX 3 truck Shay #8 - Georgetown Loop Rwy
Description:  Originally built by Lima Locomotive Company as Westside Lumber Company narrow gauge 3 truck Shay #8 in March of 1922 (serial #3176). It was eventually sold in 1966 to Malarkey Wall in Banks, Oregon. Then in 1977, it was leased to the Colorado Central Narrow Gauge RR and operated on the Georgetown Loop. Finally retired in 2004, it was put on display at Georgetown, CO. In 2008, it was relocated to the Roayl Gorge Route RR in Canon City, CO for display. Then in 2021, it was sold to the Moffat Road RR Museum in Granby, CO for display at their new logging museum. This is a color slide taken by railfan Jim Lockart and now in my collection.
