Running Ahead
Title:  Running Ahead
Description:  Having been cut off the train, 487 proceeded the special down the hill to Antonito. Having decended Tanglefoot, 487 was seen from the train on the upper end of the curve. The special will run through Antonito to Alamosa where the riders will transfer back to the Intermountain Limited for the return to Denver. The cars that had come west were shuttled from Denver to Alamosa. The special would then run overnight via La Veta Pass back to Denver.
