Description:  This is one of the most unusal uses for a retired caboose I have ever seen! Former steel, wide vision cupola added, caboose ex-ICG 199061, ex-GM&O 2961, ex-WM 1855 is perched high up on a tower as a billboard sign at the Casey Jones Village in Jackson, TN.

Description:  Former CO 3178 built in 1969, extended vision caboose on a Western Maryland Scenic Railroad excursion in Frostburg. The caboose was involved in an accident at the yard in Ridgely on 10/16/05 and had to undergo extensive repairs. Ater being repainted again, the name Richard E. Markle was added in memory of the longtime WMSR conductor.
