Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8976, a BS-12 switcher built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in January of 1951 and rated at 1,200 horsepower. Heading South, it's just passed through the North Philadelphia Station with N-6B cabin car #981212 in tow. Wave to the Conductor! |
