UP Pullman heavyweight 12 section-1 drawing room (12S-1DR) sleeper PEMBINA (Lot #6055, Plan #3410A, March 1927), built for assignment to the general service pool, assigned to the UP by January 1937, sold to the UP at the 12/31/1948 Pullman divestiture, repainted to Armour Yellow in June 1951, removed from revenue service in May 1962 and reassigned to the MofW ("Roadway") department in November 1963 as #906022, retired in January 1974. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. Photographer is unknown. |
