CB&Q 10 roomette-6 double bedroom (10RM-6DB) sleeper #436 SILVER SLOPE (Budd, Lot #9660-112, Pullman Plan #9531, July 1952, AMERICAN ROYAL ZEPHYR), after sale to Amtrak, but before being renumbered as such to AMTK #2663 (the planned BN number in the #14xx-series was obviously not applied), later converted to head end power (HEP) as #2468 in circa 1983, retired and sold sometime in the 1990's to a private owner as #800589, then listed for sale via Illinois Transit Assembly, no further disposition info. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. Date is approximate. Photographer is unknown. |
