Tucked in an isolated spot near Wabash, IN, was this Pennsylvania RR boxcar. Not sure whether it was an empty box car or used as a maintenance of way storage car. Rail fan Dick Berry found this jewel and photographed it for posterity. Technically, this would be a Penn Central car but it still has its original markings so listed as PRR here. The image was made from one of Dick Barry's original negatives now in my colleciton. |
