| Description: |
Milwaukee Road Instruction Car X5002 in the coach yard at Grand and California Avenues in Chicago, Illinois on an unknown day in August 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. As best I can figure out, this car was built around 1952 as a 14 ection sleeper named Cannon Falls and numbered 5772. Around 1956 it was converted to a 52 seat coach and renumbered 552. Around 1971 it was converted to a 40 seat coach and renumbered 651. I don't have a date for conversion to Instruction car. If anyone knows more, please leave a comment.
