| Description: |
A surviving heavyweight dining car from Illinois Central’s Panama Limited. Built by Pullman in 1916 it ran between Chicago and New Orleans. After retirement from passenger service it was used as a support car in wreck train service. It was acquired by the Illinois Railway Museum in 1996 and moved to Union, IL in 1998. |

Built by Pullman in 1916 for Panama Limited service (between Chicago and New Orleans). It could seat 36 and had a crew of a chef, a steward, four cooks, and six waiters. Later converted to work service, it arrived at the Illinois Railway Museum in 1996. |
