Amtrak coach #5480 was photographed at Kansas City, MO on 29 March 1975 by Gary W. Zeitler. The coach was built by Pullman-Standard/ACF in 1955 as Atlantic Coast Line #250, and was later Seaboard Coast Line #5480. Scanned from an original slide in my collection. The car still exists. It went to the Florida Rail Road Museum in 2013 and was restored as ACL #250, and is used as a first class lounge car. |
