This was originally the tender to MILW 8670, a 2-8-2 that was scrapped in 1949. The tender continued to be used as a fuel or water storage car, was donated to the museum in 1967, and served as an auxiliary tender to carry extra water for CNW 1385 from 1982-92 (hence the 1385 painted on the back). |
