| WP caboose 483 brings up the rear of BN train 138. This was one of a group of six cars built as an "add-on" to the order for SP's 4700-series C-50-9 cars built by PACCAR in 1980, and were the last cabooses built for either road. WP 483 was retired by UP 10/17/88 and donated 3/89 to the Western Railway Museum in Rio Vista, CA. Date of photo approximate. |
