PRR 3197, H-8S, c. 1916         
Classics. Here is a photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3197, an H-9S built in Juniata as an H-8 in January of 1907, rebuilt as an H-8S in October of 1912, rebuilt as an H-9S in March of 1923, and retired in October of 1956 after 49 years of service. Note the Fireman on the tender's deck, refilling the reservoir. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" Brad Mann Collection.
