| 8/11/2025 Crozet, VA. CSX empty coal train led by #3368 had experienced a dragging equipment warning a few miles before Crozet. The lead locomotive made it as far as east CrozetCP before stopping. The train crewman dropped to the ground, inspected the train, and found no abnormalities. The crewman then got dispatcher permission to ride the grab irons at the end of the train until the consist passed a nearby road crossing where he dropped. A local Buckingham Branch B track maintenance crew was able to give hime a ride back to the head-end. Modern railroading at its finest |
