After the freight I had a choice; I could move west along the UP and catch my next two westbounds at Malta and Cortland, or I could move into Rochelle, and catch a number of BNSF trains all converging into town at that moment. It looked like those would be my final BNSF trains of the whole day if I didnt. So, I caved and skipped out on Malta and Cortland to try to catch the BNSF trains. My first one was already going south through Rochelle when I came into town, so I jumped onto I39 and raced it south to Steward where I grabbed it exiting the double track by the elevator on the northwest side of town.
