| This caboose was built by the IC Centralia Shops in 1972 as IC 9431. It was a 30’5? steel caboose with wide vision cupola, extended porches, riveted body and PS roof. Later it was renumbered ICG 199431. Its current location is part of University of South Carolina "Cockaboose" Railroad in Columbia, SC. The photo is from the Conniff collection. |
