PRR 2-8-2 #1429- Pennsylvania RR         
Pennsylvania 2-8-2 Mikado #1429 sits at the head of the scrap line at an unidentified yard. Built by PRR's own Juniata Shopos in Jaunuary of 1918 as PRR 2-8-2 #1429 (Juniataserial #3403, class L1s) it served for nearly 41 years before being scrapped in September of 1959. Specs - 63" drivers, 205 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine wt of 315,000 lb and tractive force of 61,465 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo.
