C&O 28809  Contributor's Pick!
C&O 28809 (number is partly illegible and may be a guess) was a boxcar, painted black, with double sliding doors. The partly opened doors show something that looks like a rack or perhaps scaffolding. This is one of the few C&O boxcars I ever saw painted in black. Location is the former C&O yard in Huntington, WV on a foggy (spring?) day--exact date unknown.
