| MofW Equipment. Here is an original photo that I took in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, in July of 1960. Shown here are three tank cars (carrying water) and Pennsylvania Railroad Motor Car #7715. They're following the Fairmont "flame thrower," and the Railroader up front is spraying water on any weeds that might still be burning. Note the numerous boxcars and hopper cars which have been marshalled for reconditioning in the PRR's Samuel Rea Shop. Photo taken from the Union Street Bridge. |
