| Birmingham. Here is an original photo that I took near Birmingham, Pennsylvania, on 16 April 1966. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #7246 and #7201. Both are EFS-17M's built by GM-EMD rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #7246 was built in October of 1959, but #7201 was built in November of 1957. They're pulling a westbound string of empty hopper cars. Photo was taken where State Route 453 bridges both the railroad tracks and the Little Juniata River. |
