Waters. Here is an original photo that I took in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in mid-February of 1966. Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6034 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. #6034 is an EF-25A built by GM-EMD in April of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. They're pulling an eastbound mixed-cargo freight train past SLOPE Tower into Altoona. The homes in the background are situated along 10th Avenue. |
