EBT. Here is an original photo that I took in Colgate Grove, Pennsylvania, on 30 August 1961. Partially visible here is East Broad Top engine #14, a 2-8-2 narrow-gauge "Mikado" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during October of 1912. After departing Rock Hill Furnace and arriving at Colgate Grove, the locomotive and train Crews have stropped the train for a few minutes before turning the train around at the Colgate Grove wye for the return journey to Rock Hill Furnace. |
