EBT 14 Fill-Up, #2 of 3, 1961
EBT. Here is the second of three successive original photos that I took near Rockhill Furnace, Pennsylvania, on 30 August 1961. Shown here is the locomotive's Fireman sitting atop the tender of East Broad Top Railroad engine #14 replenishing its reservoir. EBT #14 is a 2-8-2 narrow-gauge "Mikado" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during October of 1912. The Fireman's name is not recorded. Visible in the distance are the twin smokestacks of the EBT's Shops.
