| Everyday. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Robert Yanosey that was taken in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, in August of 1978. Shown here (L to R) is Conrail engine #6865 and an ex-Lackawanna Railroad "Geep" whose road number is not recorded. #6865 is an RSD12 built by the American Locomotive Company as PRR engine number "8665" in February of 1958, renumbered "6865" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger, and then acquired by Conrail. They're poised to pull a mixed-cargo freight train out of the Hollidaysburg Yards. |
