Tom Beckett General This is one of the Belden Tunnel detour trains. Auto racks were too tall for the tunnel, and would run the Penn Division to a point south of Starrucca Viaduct, change ends, and take the Jefferson Connection up to the CR Southern Tier Line at the west end of the viaduct, then go into Binghamton. Northbounds would do the reverse. This is empty roadbed now, abandoned after the tunnel was enlarged enough to clear stacks. 10/14/2025 5:17:46 AM
