Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8854 and two more "AS" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by the American Locomotive Company. #8854 is an AS-16MS road switcher constructed in January of 1952 and retired in January of 1967 after just 15 years of service. The photographer's name and the date are not recorded. |
