| Parked on a siding in Winona Lake, IN (near Warsow, IN) is this Pennsylvania boxcar with the large name spelled out. Railr fan Dick Berry caught the moment while he was visiting. This appears to be an example of the Shadow Keystone, Phase 18 style lettering but missing the shadowed keystone logo on the right side of the car. The style was applied between 1954-1957. This image was made from Dick Berry's original negative now in my collection. |
