Description:  Next we went out to the Kankakee Belt Railway just outside of town. (Dont know the rzal name of the operation but this is what we call it) This small short line serves a couple industries outside of town that are not along the CN or NS mainlines. The sole operating power for the raikroad is this ex-CSX SW1200, now a Progress Rail lease unit. They werent operating today sadly, but still a neat operation to look at!
