Title:  GLRX 2-8-0 #44 - Georgetown Loop
Description:  Georgetown Loop 2-8-0 #44 (serial #54777) was built by Baldwin Locomotive works in 1921 for the International Rays of Central America (IRCA) and it worked there until the 1960’s It was sold to a new owner in the mid-1970’s and eventually arrived at the Georgetown Loop RR in 1973 and operated as a tourist excursion engine until its operating time ran out in the 1970;s. The locomotive was sold and stored at the Colorado RR Museum in Golden, CO, where it remains today, no longer in service. This is a Jim Lockart color slide now in my collection.
