EMDX SD70M #7001 was a demonstrator locomotive built by Electro-Motive Division (EMD) in 1992 as part of the initial EMDX series of locomotives. This wide-cab model was used to showcase EMD's new technology, traveling across North America to demonstrate its capabilities to various railroads before eventually being sold to a customer, with Union Pacific acquiring the largest fleet of SD70Ms. |

Heres TV 202 rolling east wrong main-he's on the near track, note the semaphore on track 2 at far right is still showing clear-into Endicott with 175 platforms-thats almost 9300 feet of train, not unusual, sometimes those trains were longer than two miles-of containers |
