Description:  One of my favorite shortlines in the south is Mississippian 102 with a solo GP7R in an old steam locomotive shed. This railroad is very much active at 3 days a week and hauling roughly 120 cars per month.

Description:  The crew would fire it up and go to the interchange track and pick up two empty centerbeams the BNSF left them. They would take the two north in exchange for one loaded centerbeam, come back and call it a day.

Title:  Moving along.
Description:  Charles and Scott, the crew for the Mississippian- head to pick up two empty centerbeams of lumber. After picking them up, Scott will climb aboard the engine and enjoy a 2 hour ride up the railroads 25 miles of track. Scott has been railroading since the 90s and Charles has worked at the Mississippian for 44 years, will retire from them.
