					| Title: | PRR 9785, EF-15A, 1960 |
					| Description: | Gallitzin. Here is an original photo that I took at the State Route 53 Bridge near Gallitzin, Pennsylvania, in November of 1960. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9785, #9876-B, and #9652. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9785 is an EF-15A constructed in February of 1951. #9876-B is an EF-15A built in September of 1952. #9652 is an EF-15A constructed as an EH-15 in February of 1950, later regeared and reclassified as an EF-15A, and retired in November of 1966. The town of Gallitzin is discernable in the distance. ("Red Shift" slide converted to Black & White.) |
