PRR 7077, EFS-17M, 1964 |
Description: |
Mid-Mountain. Here is an original photo that I took just West of Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 20 June 1964. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #7077 and #9830. Both were built by GM-EMD. #7077 is an EFS-17M built in November of 1956 and rated at 1,750 horsepower while #9830 is an EF-15A built in June of 1951 and rated at 1,500 horsepower. They're rockin' 'n' rollin' up the Allegheny Mountains with PRR N-5 cabin car #477526. |
