Ayers Rd
Title:  Ayers Rd
Description:  The east end of Ayers Rd is well known. It was the location of the famous Tioga Center semaphores, just west of the grade crossing there. The other end is not as well known, but still photo worthy. The deck was removed from the bridge around 1990, eliminating it as a platform for taking photos; it was a popular spot during EL days. We see 419 rolling underneath with 42 cars behind its four units.

Tell tale
Title:  Tell tale
Description:  One of the vestiges of the old days that was still hanging on into the modern era was this telltale. It once extended across the LV Auburn Branch to warn of the impending Ayers Rd bridge. Almost 30 years after that line became a gravel trail, the telltale remains.

Description:  Getting a shot of a northbound in the early morning could be problematic due to not having good side angle. The light was good as a rule, just nothing much open. There was a restaurant in town that had a fairly wide open shot in the parking lot, which is where we see 413 headed north

Early AM Dresser
Title:  Early AM Dresser
Description:  A chase that would take too much typing to explain pays off at 0656 as the CP 6009 steps into the sunshine at Cardigan East. I literally grabbed by camera, locked the car, and ran all the way to this vantage point with no time to spare. I wasn't even set up before he rounded the corner, but scrambled with the settings and got a shot that I'm pretty pleased with. I guess the 6009 is "THEE" power for this train, its the third time I've shot it leading this year.
