BNSF 9039
With traffic much slower on this line than it had been in other places the past few days, I decided that I would follow this train eastward as far as I could before I would run into another opposing trains. The H2 SD70MACs are getting pretty hard to come by these days, as a majority are either laid up in storage, or have been sold/scrapped. With the train head of them, C-NAMNMA0-94 ended up stopping just shy of downtown to do their crew swap. To my surprise, another H2 was in the consist as well, this one second (a majority of these motors do not have PTC, so they are trail or DPU only). To my surprise, I didnt have to wait long before the outbound showed up. One of the coal trains that was here the night before had finally gotten crewed up and was blasting off out ahead of them. Once they were gone, they began their journey eastward once again.
