Description:  Blairsville. Here is an original photo that I took in Blairsville, Pennsylvania, on 25 October 1964. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #7226, #2266, #2232, and #2237. All were built by GM-EMD. #7226 is an EFS-17M built in December of 1957 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. #2266 is an EF-25 built in May of 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2232 and #2237 are EF-22's rated at 2,250 horsepower each; #2232 was built in April of 1963 and #2237 was built one month later. They're pulling a 94-car westbound iron-ore train with two cabin cars (viz., #477449 and #477936) on the Blairsville Secondary Track.

Description:  17th Street. Here is an original photo that I took from the 17th Street Bridge in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 4 July 1965. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2261, #2540, #2237, #2312, and #2413. #2261 and #2312 are EF-25's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,500 horsepower each; #2261 was built in March of 1965 while #2312 was built in January of 1965. #2540 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in February of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2237 is an EF-22 built by GM-EMD in May pf 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #2413 is an AF-24 built by the American Locomotive Company in October of 1962 and rated at 2,400 horsepower. They've just come down the eastern slope of the Allegheny Mountains with a 93-car TrucTrain, and are now passing ALTO Tower on their way through Altoona non-stop to Enola. The cabin car is #477550.
